Christian Brethren Assembly ("CBA", "we", "us") operates the website and progressive web app at christianbrethrenassemblyuppal.org. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

- Prayer Requests — Your name, phone number, email address, and the content of your prayer request when submitted through the Prayer tab.
- Attendance Check-In — Your name when you voluntarily check in at a meeting using the Check In feature.
- Push Notification Subscriptions — A browser-generated subscription token when you opt in to receive notifications. We do not collect your name or identity from this.
We do not collect any information automatically, use cookies for tracking, or use analytics services.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Prayer Requests — Submitted prayer requests are sent directly to the elders of CBA via email for the purpose of prayer and pastoral care only. They are not shared with the congregation without your explicit consent, and anonymous requests are kept strictly confidential.
- Attendance Check-In — Check-in records are used only by the elders to track meeting attendance for pastoral purposes. Records are stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted.
- Push Notifications — Subscription tokens are used solely to send you notifications about meeting schedule updates and events from CBA. You can unsubscribe at any time through your browser or device settings.
3. Data Storage
All data is stored securely using encrypted cloud infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
- Prayer requests — retained in the elders' email for pastoral care purposes
- Attendance check-ins — automatically deleted after 90 days
- Push notification subscriptions — retained while you remain subscribed; removed when you unsubscribe
- Meeting schedules — retained for 90 days then automatically removed
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request deletion of your personal data by contacting us
- Unsubscribe from push notifications at any time through your device settings
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
6. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for general use by members and visitors of Christian Brethren Assembly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
